Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program (MBSR)
The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Course is an eight-week, secular, evidence-based, experiential training course that systematically introduces the practice of formal and informal mindfulness practices that support coping with the stressors of everyday life.
The course introduces concepts related to stress, the physiology of stress, perception, noticing one’s habitual patterns in reacting to stress, mindful listening and mindful speaking. Through the practice of Mindfulness, one begins to develop openness and flexibility to practice responding versus reacting to stress.
