For me, one of the many silver linings of pandemic was researching poetry and quotes to share as I facilitated free Live Online Mindfulness several days at week at noon in the midst of the lockdown and reopening.
Poetry and quotes have historically been a facet of the MBSR curriculum, however, guiding the Live Online Mindfulness Sessions and adding an additional MBSR Group (twice/month versus monthly) nudged me to delve deeper into poetry and quotes related to mindfulness.
I found that researching and reading poetry created space for me to sense and feel my emotions, allowing them to rise, be felt and acknowledged, felt so cleansing and grounding.
