April 2020
Mindfulness Midwest is offering a FREE Live Online Mindfulness Practice on Wednesdays and Fridays at 12:00 pm CST beginning April 8, 2020. Each session will be 30 minutes long and guided by Margaret McGann.
In the midst of sheltering in place, as we navigate a new path of discipline and self-care, Mindfulness Midwest is offering a time to be in community, virtually, to practice together. With the presence of Covid-19 in our communities, we are collectively sacrificing our customary freedoms as a means of protection for all of us. So now, we are afforded the opportunity to explore this somehow different sense of freedom. Seeking structure, meaning, and some sense of balance. Mindfulness Midwest is looking to support you in this exploration.
Perhaps before or after breakfast, lunch, or dinner, based upon your time zone, join in and you will be guided in a meditation and gentle mindful movement practice. We will create a virtual retreat inside our homes to practice mindfulness as we maintain social distancing.
We welcome people of all ages, levels of experience, and diversity in our practice rooms.
Please register with Zoom to confirm your virtual presence. All registrants will be provided with a link, via email, to access our practice room.
